Vince Gastgeb Bio
Allegheny County Airport Authority
Vince Gastgeb is the Vice-President of Government & Community Affairs for the Allegheny County Airport Authority which maintains and operates Pittsburgh International Airport as well as Allegheny County Airport. Vince is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and has over 30+ years in both the private sector as a sales and marketing professional, and also the public sector within government affairs.
In his role, Vince provides a marketing and business approach to the business community to meet their air transportation needs. Additionally, Mr. Gastgeb is responsible for all targeted outreach strategy and activity to region professional, civic, university, diversity community, military & travel agent organizations.
Mr. Gastgeb is also responsible for all Federal, State & Local Governmental Affairs including; legislation, policy, lobbying & Grant funding. He served 13 years as an elected official and was an inaugural member of the Allegheny County Council being elected to 4 consecutive terms. Mr. Gastgeb is a member of the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Politics Fiscal Policy & Governance Committee, Airport Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee co-chair, Pittsburgh Business Travel Association as a committee chair, Board member of the Military Affairs Council of W.PA, Global Business Travel Association member, former Southwestern Planning Commission member for Transportation projects, graduate of the Honorary Commanders Military Program, a former election coordinator for various campaigns and was selected for a Pennsylvania Governor’s Transition team.
He is married to Barbara with four adult children and three granddaughters; all residing in Bethel Park, PA.
